Fun challenge cause I love dots! After stamping & coloring the cake, I fussy cut it because I knew the tall candles would end up very close to the top. On the top of the background, I white embossed the polka dot background..I think the white on white adds a nice texture without making it look too busy.
I added a die cut fancy border w/ a blue ombre strip behind the top that I just colored w/ Copics. The greeting was stamped in the opening & some sequins added for a little sparkle.

Love this! It is perfect for someone whose birthday is around a patriotic day. I need to remember this - my Dad's b-day is July 3rd - yup, day before the 4th! LOL
