I'm having way too much fun making scenes lately! Thought I'd do one more for this challenge (at the Beach): CAS282
First I created a mask for my scene by die cutting an opening in a card-sized post-it (with the deckled rectangle die). While looking at Cindy's fabulous scenes (aka Frenzied Stamper, Queen of Scene-making!)), she reminded me of that great technique to swipe the ink pad across your paper for the base coat in making a background. I had forgotten all about that technique! Thanks, Cindy. So, using some masks to cover parts once they were done, I swiped ink for the 3 sections of color. Then I added some great stamps from the stampscapes set that give grass and water texture. Added the other elements, coloring in the chair with copics and some open spots on the rocks at the base of the trees. Added a bit of pink to the sky. Stamped the sentiment and done. Very fun!

This is gorgeous. The color here is gorgeous! I am putting this in my favorites because it is pretty, the color is beautiful, and I love your description of how you achieved the color. If I ever lose my mind and try to color again, I will look this up!
