Congrats to Heather aka Rica for being the FS. I was not familiar with her gallery so it was fun looking through. Here is the card I cased: A Misty Morn by Rica at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colour a bit by adding a hint of pink. The bkg. was done by rubbing dye ink onto my acrylic block and then dropping Blending Solution over the ink. The solution pushed the ink away and you are left with really interesting results.
I moved the flowers to the side then added the sentiment right onto the card front.

Karen, what a gorgeous card. I love the look you achieved with your background. It looks like tiny dots which is perfect for the stamp you chose.

I love these beautiful blues. Your artistry always amazes me. Everyone done a great card once in a while but you do it daily. I want to be you when I grow up. Thanks for sharing your talents!

hunh, I guess I should read the words more often when the beauty of something you've made stops me in my tracks. ( blending solution on dye ink... ) ( brain has filed that one away to play with sometime ) ( hopefully before I forget) ;) this has such beautiful depth of colors Karen.
