The challenge today is "on the road" - travel and vacation spots. One of my favorite places to go is the North Shore of Lake Superior and this scene reminds me of that.
Stamped the scene and then blended inks till I was satisfied (which was a long time, let me tell you, because I don't know what I am doing!) I also added a little bit of copic coloring and SU inks with an aqua-brush.

Wow! Your coloring skills are awesome!! This is a beautiful sunset, serene looking scene!!

You've created a beautiful summer sunset here! You definitely made me laugh when you said you blended your colors and for a long time until you were satisfied. I totally understand that! Sometimes when I'm sponging I feel like I'm never going to get done. Then when I'm done and finally satisfied I think, "Now that wasn't so bad". Good thing it doesn't always take long or I wouldn't want to keep doing it. Thanks for sharing your summer scene with us at the Friday Mashup.

This is just stunning. The colors in the sunset and the water are gorgeous. First, I would like to be there, and if I can't be there I would like a picture like this to hang on the wall. I did pin it to enjoy. Lovely card.

Maura- sure looks like you know what you are doing! This is just amazing. I have a few of these stamps- you inspired me to get some out and try to do something with them. Your layering of colors is amazing. You should be proud of this for sure. Thanks for sharing at the Friday Mashup this week
