Loved these colors on the Button board Inspiration site: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/257831147386559023/
and thought I'd squeeze in one last sunset - way different colours than I'm used to.
After masking the moon, sponge the sky colors and continue down a bit where the water will go.
Mask across and swipe the ink pad across to create the water. Stamp all the images, stamping the grass several times (Mix75). Use distress markers to create shadows around the pylons and sail boat. Add white gel pen highlights.
For the tools central theme: Sponges - so necessary for all these scenes.

Oh, Cindy! This is gorgeous and so calm and peaceful in its colors for a sympathy card! Stunning! And it's perfect for this month's DD theme too! Hugs!

WOW, WOW, WOW! I love everything about this card... your expert use of shadows and highlights, the wispy clouds across the moon, the way you stamped the birds in a color that was NOT black (I wouldn't have thought of that, but it really adds depth to the card) the gorgeous color palette. I see some techniques here that I need to try and learn... creating ripples or waves by using both a shadow AND a highlight together, for example. Very realistic! And I love how the clouds are a light orangey color, as if the setting sunlight is hitting them just right. This is a masterpiece!
