Loved the sunset on the Inspiration site Grandin Rd here:http://www.grandinroad.com/quiet-tim...all-art/505371
I masked the moon and sponged the sky, then used a reverse mask to lightly sponge in a little softer color ink and stamp the bird in (MIX68: motise masking).
Masking the sky, I used the direct to paper technique, swiping the ink pad straight across the paper, to achieve the water effect...I love how that leaves lots of gaps that look like ripples.
After stamping the birds & the jetty (F4A - a recent purchase) and the greeting, I used a distress marker to darken water areas around the jetty and a white gel pen to add highlights.

What a beauty for the inspiration challenge! Love that die cut on the right...so pretty. That's just for starters, lol...All your masking & sponging paid off BIG TIME. Beautiful sky, amazing water, especially with the ripples & white highlights and great heron and jetty stamps, too. Whew...
