Peggy gave us some wonderful colors which would work well for a masculine card:
Midnight Muse
Baked Brown Sugar
Cherry Cobbler
Neutrals of choice
Dessert: Coloring
This will be a birthday card for an avid, world-wide birder friend of mine. I like the birds on cards that I send to him and his wife to be as accurately colored as I can. I got out my “Guide to North American Birds” for this one. : ) I also depicted a pair of geese since they mate for life. The dessert of “coloring” worked perfectly for this card. The background was done with a brayer and some Copic “scribbles”.

GORGEOUS card Sallie, the background speaks of a hazy lazy Saturday morning…..although canadian geese may not keep track of the days of the week……..outstanding work as ALWAYS!!

Beautiful card Sallie, our use of the colors in the background are fabulous... How sweet that you put so much thought and love into a card for your bird friend, I'm sure they appreciate it very much.

Gorgeous card! The geese are colored so realistically - good job! Your sponged background is beautiful, too, as is the placement of your grass. Love everything about this card! It's going into my fav's to study later. TFS!
