Love rainbows of colors! So I went with a rainbow of butterflies. I stamped the butterflies twice, colored both w/ Copics & set aside one for later. On the other, I did a very tricky out of the box Nestie technique on it using a long rectangle die. Normally, itÂ’s not this involved but I had so many points that were out of the box, including two little butterflies on the right that were almost entirely out of the box, that it was more complicated than usual. I used a Perfect Paper Crafting mini ruler set to get the very narrow borders on the cobalt layers.
I just rec'd a PPC color mister I wanted to try it out and see if I really could use my Copic markers with it. It worked great! So I masked the butterflies & used the spritzer w/ several colors using a light mist then used blender solution to splatter it. I cut out a few of the extra butterflies & attached them with foam tape for extra dimension.
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups and more details on the background are on my blog: The Write Stuff
