My card is for today's F4A challenge to make a Valentine, and Birgit's MIX54 to use hearts on your card + two mixed media elements. I am also submitting it for the current SOS137 challenge, "Love Me Tender" Valentine cards.
For the Mix challenge, I used three inks, a glitter brush, watercolor pencils, die cuts and paper piecing. My sweet PI is paper pieced w/Webster's Pages paper, as well as, the printed panel is from that same paper collection. I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush on her bow, the heart on her shirt and all of the roses, but I couldn't get the sparkle to show in the picture. Drats.
Thanks for looking!

Wow, this is a beautiful card. I love the shades of green, not the usual valentine's colors. I love the pretty shades of pink on your roses, and the little girl image is adorable. The heart border close to the top, and the pretty dp, adds extra interest, to this beautiful card. Very creative. I love it. tfs.

Gabby your paper piecing is amazing. Love that little girl image with the heart on her top. The bg dp is beautiful and has such a vintage feel to it. Your card is simply wonderful. TFS :0)
