Wonderful challenge! The challenge is to Color Something. It just so happens I LOVE to color! So I colored these cute little kids & I also sponged, masked, stenciled & stamped to color the background & added color to the greeting strip.
For the background, I started w/ white card stock & sponged on some light purple & light blue inks. I used a sequin waste strip as a stencil & sponged on some darker blue & purple inks in areas. Then I stamped a splatter image here & there with dk blue & also white pigment ink. I did the same with a polka dot image. After stamping the greeting on a trimmed off piece of white, I sponged on some of the same inks diagonally. I turned down one corner of the image, added a button.

absolutely gorgeous coloring, Julie. Of course I'd expect nothing less from you!! One of these times when I'm in GA visiting my kids, I'm gonna just pop on over and get you to give me some coloring lessons!!!!!

That cute image is coloured so beautifully. I love the way it is shaded! (I guess I need to practise more) I love the background too! Thanks for sharing how it was created.
