oh my goodness, girlgeek101...I am so gonna pay for staying up playing in your wonderful pin board for 'nighty night'! Wish I could play ALL day long...what serious inspiration. And I did go beyond this gorgeous peacock gown, I really did, but this gown is a dream, wouldn't you say????
I used Stampington's The Calligraphy Robe inked in black, embossed, and then colored with Gellatos. I added a teeny bit of obi sash in a bronze trim. She is popped above my feathered panel. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo and inked in the chalkboard style with Seafoam embossing powder. And then all along the right edge is a peacock feather stamp from Rubber Monger...inked with VersaMark and embossed with Verdigris (Ranger). My green background panel is a piece of ART paper with a heavy texture to it. I finished this dreamy card with the cotton/mesh white buds.
And what would the truth be if I told???? I'd have to say I am more a gypsy than a peacock....
Thanks for stopping by, I so appreciate your comments...how about your alter ego...are you a gypsy or a peacock?.

You know when you've nailed an inspiration piece if others know which piece you chose for your inspiration the minute they see it - I knew! Beautifully thought out card! Can you believe how gorgeous that gown is?

I LOVE that sentiment!! Your card is terrific take on your inspiration piece. I don't think I'm a gypsy or a peacock ~ they're both so vivid and flambouyant, and I'm neither of those things. I'm probably more of a librarian living vicariously through gypsies (and wishing for indoor plumbing) and peacocks (and wishing people would stop staring at me)

Heaven help me, I'd be a peacock...
What a wonderful dream! It's all fabulous, but the peacock feathers take the cake!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
