Oh the Horchow catalog...brings back many memories of this 'wishing' book for adults! They have outrageously fun stuff!!! Thanks Audrie and Stef for getting us in the mood tonight. And to those that know me well, of course it was the chairs I couldn't resist!!! I think I saw no less than half a dozen chairs, I'd love to acquire...but having the room for them would mean a larger house. It was this sinuous beauty that caught my eye. I love the curves, the color, and the texture.
I cut my chair from a magazine feature, wallpapered my card front with one of the larger Basic Grey Wisteria papers, added a baseboard with the Tim Holtz harlequin tissue tape. The pillow contains the sentiment, 'Scatter Joy'. And I was in the process of scattering joy with the tiny floral brads off to the right of the chair.
Hope everyone is finding joy everywhere they go...don't save it, but scatter freely! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Your chair is perfect for the challenge. You DO love the funky modern ones, don't you? I love that you used one from a magazine. It give your stuff so much character and your sentiment rocks every time.

susan and chairs, chairs and susan. both of these things go together. wonderful ideas, wonderfully executed. I love chairs too. I have a small collection of chair related art, some purchased from etsy, some from Goodwill and other places. I used to have a small bentwood chair, hanging over the kitchen sink. People just didn't get it; my response was that the Shakers used to hang chairs all the time.

This is sooo cool! Your card looks like a picture out of a magazine! I had to read your description to realize that you fussy cut the chair and 'wallpapered' your card base! Your creativity astounds me!
