Emerging Color is a technique I've tried before, but it's been a while!
I used the ODBD snowflakes for my background layer, as they were already on my desk. Then I stamped Medallion with Versamark and embossed with clear EP.
(How can I lose something as big as the IO Mega Mount?? I took Medallion off a wood block, put EZ-Mount on the back and am STILL looking for the Mega Mount. I should have just left the Medallion on the wood block, sigh - but I often have trouble getting a full image).
After embossing I brayered with Chipped Sapphire till all the snowflakes still showing on the white card had disappeared, and then stamped with a flourish in Walnut Stain. Added binding and a bow and pearls, and then decided to add a sentiment. Not sure about that, but it's done! And this does look better IRL - try as I might I couldn't get it finished in time for a daylight photo.
