Here is my inspiration from Susan's 'beyond everything' gallery: Peaceful life...O4J by One4Joy at Splitcoaststampers
Susan's little girl is all grown up and is wearing a gorgeous blue cape that is swirling in the wind. She has snowflakes on her ermine muff and hat and she looks like she is hoping to catch some young man's eye.
Susan's card reminded me of this stenciled birch tree background I had made a while ago and my beautiful Victorian woman. The stamp could be Non Sequitur or some other artsy company. I actually have two of these; one has a background, one doesn't. The nonbackground one was not prepared to stamp so I used the other and fussy cut her out. I found some scraps of white glimmer paper and the corrugated paper, tore them and added glitter. I thought the corrugated one looked like snow looks when the wind has blown very hard across it and it's very very cold out.
When one looks through Susan's gallery, one must look at every card because they all tell a story and you can't see that with the small photos. I admire her 'this card just happened' look, even though I know she puts a lot of thought into every one. I'm a Susan wannabe.
It's a rotten weather day here today, tornado watch going on right now (in Wisconsin in November !!), hence my title.

Oh, how cool is this??! This looks like a scene right out of Narnia! I love the dimension with your scene-dark forest, snowy hills- and the movement scene in the image of the young woman. A work of art!

Jean, what an extraordinary work of he{Art} YOU have created here. This card took my breath away with it's imagination and artful execution. Love, love how my girl grew. She's a lovely young woman now, brave and confident. And that's just for the story...love the swirled (crimped???) terrain and the snow drifts with the sparkle of frost. So very very lovely.
Thank you for your kind thoughts, they touched my heart. And I am so happy to have inspired you.
editing to add...way to go with the fussy cut, you did a fab job with the scissors
