Hello friends,
This is actually the river that feeds Lake Wobegone!! This is the first property that Donald wants to buy but guess what??? The lovely older couple who lives here has always dreamed of retiring in their log cabin by the river and WILL NOT sale. They love watching the Loons on the lake and all the other wildlife that is always roaming by. They love the wildflowers that grow every where as well (BTW, in this town where the women are all strong, the men good looking, and the children are all above average...the flowers always bloom too!!!). ((Ok judging by the comments I haven't fooled anyone with my "Loon" but it's sorta close, right?))
Thanks for dropping by, come in for tea any time!!

Love the story of the retired couple and that is one great scene for this challenge. It all looks so peaceful.. but when I visited that little lost cabin in the woods back in my younger days, I had to chop wood! lol... just my story and I'm stickin to it!

What a gorgeous fall scene. It so reminds me of going to the cottage at Lake of the Woods. It looks exactly like that. The sight of the Canada geese going south is always the harbinger that winter is coming.
