For this week's color challenge: smokey slate, island indigo, bermuda bay, coastal cabana, pool party. Yes. I used all of them. The dessert's buffet, so I went with chalkboard technique, since I already had this graphic greetings scrap leftover from a previous chalkboard project. Handy.
I used this week's sketch for the layout, but tweaked it to make an A2 card instead of a square. I sketched out the diamond (in the sketch, a square on the diagonal) on graph paper, then used my protractor to construct the parallelogram panel. Geometry-- my other universe.

I like the way you've adapted this to the A2 format, Brenda. The diamond shape looks great. I don't think I'd have thought of my protractor, even though I keep on on the shelf! And I love the flourished bottom panel as well as that lovely chalkboard sentiment.
