I have loads of the cardboard that comes in my DH's laundered shirts and one side is glossy. I daubed the glossy side with Tim's Alcohol ink in watermelon and gold mixative. The Poppy was die cut from the leftover cardboard and recycled envelope liner that I rescued from holiday and etc mail. I then glued the die cut liner and cardboard together and popped up with foam adhesive.
So much fun Lydia and Wendy!

Your card is gorgeous. I love the gold and the red together -- so elegant and festive! I am always saving pieces of shiny cardboard or cool metallic envelope liners. I'm glad to find out I am not the only one!
