When I saw the sketch for today, Homer Simpson just POPPED out at me. So I went with it. I know, a little goofy but all in fun.
I think I will send this to my cousin who needs some cheering up. She is dealing with cancer and under going treatments. This will be my "D'OH! card for not call-ling her sooner. I guess I will say, I pulled a Homer!.....then I'll go visit her bringing a box of donuts. hehe
Card details....made my circles. His head circle was gessoed and then painted with acrylic paint. Made the nose using a corner rounder and colored it by dragging the ink pad over top.
In case you couldn't tell, I hand wrote the sentiment after Google'ing what Homer always says.
The blue bg is a gelli print I made last week on regular paper.
Well, hope you get a smile from this. I know, it is a little crazy! ....but then, so am I. hehe.....TFL :0)

Before I read your description of your card sketch I said to myself there is Homer Simpson. Oh my goodness, this card is terrific and works so well with today's sketch. I think all the members were smiling when they laid eyes on your card. Very creative and fun.

Too funny!! Very creative!! Not sure how Simpson popped into your mind but I must say very clever!!
This card will be sure to cheer your cousin up and put a smile on her face. I am so sorry she is battling cancer. Although I don't know her...I just said a prayer for her.

Fantastic I would like to take a walk inside that creative mind of yours. I think I could learn so much about how to be inventive and how to just have fun creating. Your card certainly brought a smile and a giggle today!!
