I have quite a collection of angel stamps so this challenge was easy for me in some regards, the difficulty came in the decision of which angel to use. I've always liked this Stampington image and have used it in the past for Christmas cards. I wanted to make it look like a antique painting so I stamped it in StazOn ink then applied (I used a glue stick over the entire angel) wax paper which I had crumbled up a lot and then smoothed out over the angel and burnished with my bone folder. I sponged black and brown inks over the top to give it a crackled effect. The frame is made with a nestie, acrylic paper, and gold acrylic paint. I sponged black distress ink and copper ink over the top of it to make it look old.

So rich in color and the crackle technique is awesome!!! Polly, what an incredible angel card, so different from the mostly "sweet" images in the gallery. LOVE the feel of history and depth. Gorgeous card my friend!!!
