The image of today's card is called :
"Sing a Song of Sixpence" .
The nursery rhyme is :
Sing a Song of Sixpence,
A Pocket full of Rye :
Four- and -Twenty Blackbirds
Baked in a Pie;
When the Pie was opened,
The birds began to sing;
Was not that a dainty dish
To set before the King ?
I mounted the image on a CD.
The image has several layers, and the corners of my card are decorated with a technique called:
INSIRE with punches by Nelly Snellen
It's an older technique from Nellie where you
use a metal Incire template to cut a pattern and some CLICK punches.
First you cut a pattern with the metal template.
Then you score and fold the shapes over and attach the punched-out shapes onto the folded-over shapes.
For this card I used the Incire lace punch IC0504 "round" .
