I have been thinking of using the Bandana Technique as part of my next Stamp Club get-together so when I saw the challenge for to-day and this shirt in particular http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban...d=MORE%20IDEAS my mind was made up! The blue made a nice 'guy card' but when I tried different colours like pink and purple ..I couldn't get sparkles and embossing out of my head! Instead of using a white gel pen this technique called for white acrylic paint which made more sense to me since my gel pen skills suck! In keeping with my New Years Resolution I used scraps for everything but the base card and 'shopped my stash' to find those neat purple sparkly leaves.

I love your take on today's inspiration! These are gorgous and I love that ef. I agree with Sallie - it's the gel pens that suck! Your acrylic paint skills are great! Very cool cards.
Fav'd.
