This card is for last Tuesday's Teapotter Tickle challenge, as well as, today's IC395 challenge, the Lilly Pulitzer webstore. I was inspired by the pink and green colors in this color block dress:
Tore piece of cardboard box. Peel it down to the top layer, using textured side as sand. Distressed w/Ranger distress ink. Cut MFT frame, embossed greeting. (Left stray powder to look like "spray" of water or sand.) Cut center, frame piece. Attached from back w/Scotch tape, top only. Colored and cut out RAK Edna. (Her skin is Prisma flesh, a beige tone. It looks kinda green in the pic! Hee!) Dotted flowers on bathing suit and diamond ring w/M.S. glue pen, sprinkled M.S. fine white glitter. Placed Edna in frame, secured bottom, back of frame w/Scotch tape. Attached sand, laid out frame. Stamped sun once on card and once on another piece of cardstock. Colored both; cut out second. Attached frame piece. Attached sun w/SU dimensionals.

Hi Gabby!
I'm so glad I decided to come back to the gallery and take another look at this weeks Teapotter cards.
Edna is the bomb-digty! I love her bathing suit and hair color *hahaha* That just cracked me up. My sister (62) and I (63) made a pack to monitor our "fashion awareness" *hahaha* Either that or we both go over the cliff together! Bwhahaha
Great card for the Tickle a Teapotter Challenge this week, Gabby. I really enjoyed your card.

Gotta love that Edna---she's sure a party animal indeed. Looks like she is reaching for something---LOL---we will never know as she's not telling. Great idea for your sand.
