For my sample, blocks of different patterned papers were used to represent a flag in the background. This card was also made for this week's Red, White, and Blue Shining the Light Challenge on the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog. I love making patriotic cards, especially around the 4th of July! Thanks for looking!

This card is really inspiring. What a great tribute to our country and our brave soldiers.

This is awesome!! Just love it! I was going through today's cards just looking. Thought I'd give myself a chance to make a card and comment later. But, I saw your card and had to say something. I just love the scripture, the design, and the thought that was put into it!! TFS

Cathy, this is absolutely beautiful to the max! I love every square inch of it! The sentiment is very touching....love all the stars! When my DH would go on a 6-9 month deployment, my mom would give him positive uplifting scripture to hold onto when times got tough~

Cathy, this really is a fabulous card...in so many ways! When I think of all those who serve in the military, and then when I think of how our LORD is always with us...what joy!
