Cathy gave us a pretty cool challenge today. We were to use vellum. I started out with another card and I was having difficulties, and then I changed my plans entirely. I really had wanted to use pinks from the beginning. I used two pretty colors that are now retired - pretty in pink and regal rose. I double stamped my rose and some leaves and popped them up. I embossed on my vellum and used two pieces of it on my card.
Thanks for looking!! :>)

What a shame that those two colors are retired as they are so pretty on your beautiful card. The embossed vellum panel adds perfectly to the elegance of it all!

Kim, LUV your new Avi!!! Your birthday card is so pretty!!! I LOVE the embossed vellum peeking out from behind the flower panel and under the sentiment! Your design is awesome and I really like the button embellie! All the pinks and the lovely flowers really make this such a beautiful, feminine birthday card!
