This week we are headed into outer space. I'm spacey enough with my allergies, so I thought I'd stay right here on this planet (not that I wouldn't love to go to the moon, is there pollen there?).
Our recipient this week is the son of redi2stamp, aka Mary. Rich was wounded 15 years ago in the Army and had to adjust to life that was less physical. Now Rich has an incurable form of Leukemia. Rich loves Star Wars and Star Trek, and loves to play games with his children.
That's where I came in. I brought the game of Upwords. As Rich has a strong faith, I used words of faith on this board.
My DH and I have a computer version of this game, we play all the time. I just beat his highest score of 573 this morning, with a score of 575, yippee! We save this board game for when we travel.
My question to Rich, do you play dominoes?
We play with double 15's and are now teaching the DGS the elementary side of the game. He wins every game (wink)!
I"m glad to know that Rich plays games with his children, it's sort of a lost pastime in this era!

Upwords - I love that game!! DH used to be so competitive with Scrabble that I had to stop playing that with him, but he was easier-going with Upwords. You've got a great inspiring selection of words there, too. And those are brads? They make great corners.

Loved this game when my kids were growing up and I bet Rich is familiar with it too - lots of inspiration in those words - awesome job on this!
