This is for the CAS FS Bonnie Klass aka Bon2Stamp - a fabulous clean and simple stamper!! This card was inspired by a few of Bonnie's poppy cards: Poppies for Jennifer, Featuring Loll and by her Funky Dahlias. It was the stems in this last card that reminded me of this Poppies stamp from Rubbernecker. I used the Retro Sketches for my design.
I used a red Memento marker and colored the poppies, misted with water and stamped onto white card stock. I then colored the stems and buds with a green Memento marker and used a stamp-a-majig to line them up with the poppy flowers. I then went over the poppy flowers with several different colored red markers for some shading.
I wrapped the twine around a few times and adhered this panel to the card front with foam tape.

Harriet, this is just beautiful... I love the technique you used with the misting of the image and then stamping that on the card... The additional blending of other reds on these are just beautiful... Thanks so much for sharing.....

What elegant and beautiful poppies Harriet. I really like how you popped up the image and used the twine. Very striking.
