This card comes with a story. The other day I saw this elderly gentleman trying to walk his elderly dog. The dog just sat there not wanting to move. The man reached into his pocket, grab some doggie treats and threw them in front of the little doggie. The doggie got up took several steps only to sit down again. The elderly man repeated the process and off they went. Now I understand why the little doggie was a tad on the heavy side! hehe ...my card...
This card is for the F4A to use eyelets. I put pink ones on my tree because all the pink flowers on the trees are blossoming. Boy, do my eyes hurt!
This is also for the MIX to use gesso and newspaper. My bg panel was made by gluing on newspaper, them gesson'ing it, doing a gelli print on top of that and finishing it off with a little doodled bg scene that I colored with oil pastels. The silhouette is from the computer/internet.
Finally this is for the QFTD. Today's new Queen is DJRants. I chose this card of DJ's to loosely case. I was inspired by her lovely tree. Mine is not nearly as elegant as hers. hehe
Just a side note, the card board in the bg was used as a stencil on my gelli print. Just another item you can use to make way cool designs with.
Have a great weekend all. DJ, loved your gallery. Have a wonderful reign as the new Queen. Challenge ladies, thanks for the awesome challenges you come up with.....TFL :0)

A lovely scene, so bright and cheerful! Love your story about the elderly gentlemen and his dog too, Cathy! My favorite part is the pink flowers in the tree....

Very cool card!!! You did a great job with the gesso & newspaper technique. Such beautiful, bright colours. Great idea to have the man and dog in silhouette. Thanks for sharing the story about the seniors, man & dog : ) They were probably friends for a long time.
