It's been way tooo long since I've played in the IC challenge...but your choice tonight Stef was not to be missed! For those that know me well...you might have been expecting furniture...hee, hee, I forced myself to stay away from that category...but flames caught my eye. And I recently added the Faber Castell gelatos to my art supplies. (Thanks tessaduck for the enabling and start). I've been anxious to try them.
This Verses wood mounted stamp is an Edith Wharton quote...I inked it with black and embossed in clear ep. The candlestick was inked with the Memento Rich Cocoa and embossed with clear. I used Liquid Applique on the candle drips.
I am reminded of that childrens song, 'this little light of mine...I'm gonna let it shine'. So the way I see it, either way we are spreading light, be it from a candle flame to illuminate the darkness, or like a mirror...our smiles brightening the day of we know not who. I've lit the first match...who wants to join me?
Always, your comments make me smile. Have a lovely weekend all.
