I squeezed in a card today for two challenges: the Mixability challenge to use a resist technique and the Free for All Challenge to used blues and brown (my FAVES!). I challenged myself to do a one layer card. I started by stamping my Eiffel tower in Stazon but my ink pad needs reinking so it was a bit too faint for my taste. So, I inked up again with Versamark and embossed in black. Because I eye-balled this I ended up with a faint shadow. I masked this off and stamped my script and medallions in Versamark and embossed the first in clear and the 2nd in Espresso. I then commenced sponging! I also used the spatter from French Foliage in several colors and stamped off colors. Late in the game I added some masking fluid spots....the cool thing was that when I wiped them off, they had taken the color off too so I ended up with the white spots after all! Lastly, I dripped a bit of water and dabbed those areas. I crumpled my last bit of Baja seam binding for a bow and stamped my sentiment.

I can't resist Paris!!!! Every time I see a Paris card I'm reminded of my trip there. Ah, the walk down memory lane....
This is beautiful, love the b/g and the collage feel of this.
