It's time for another teapot party - we are heading to Lake Mills, Wisconsin - we are sending happy mail to Marian - (the mother of fellow SCSer - (marysmessages#.
I have brought a nice lap quilt for Marian - to keep her warm and snuggly. I appliqued a lovely yellow daffodil - Marian loves daffodils, cute things, lady bugs, dark chocolate, coffee, and collects apple themed items.
Looks like the other teapotters are bringing 42,000 ladybugs to keep the aphids away.
I created the woven background - my sister #Valerie-Raye# showed me two quilt projects she is working on with the fabrics woven together. I love how they looked and wanted to try it with paper first. I will definetly do this again.
I am putting this into the TLC415 challenge - to use three different patterns #either papers or stamps). All three of my dp's have different patterns in them.
I have already put this card in the mail - heading for Maria... Hope she likes it..tfs
Hugs.. Pat
This fits the You Can Do it challenge #5 (YCDI5) - to make a quilt themed card. Connie (stamp300) issued the challenge...

That quilted background is amazing looking - I'm fascinated as to how you got all those curving lines. The greens and yellows give this such a happy springtime and sunshine feel, I'm sure it will really brighten Marian's day.

Just a gorgeous lap quilt you've brought for Marian - love the"crazy quilt" stitching - or is this another form of the "wandering stitch" that has become so famous? A wonderful card to bring the warm fuzzies to Marian as she heals! HUGS
