Made one more card with the sketch, this time something with my retired Navy husband in mind. I started with a back panel of distressed dp. I used another sheet from the same dp set for the rear panel. I cut a Crumb Cake tag, used a Texturz plate to add wood grain, sponged it then cut it down & distressed the edges. My ship was stamped on Vanilla and masked then I stamped the map in Suede. I crumpled, tore and sponged the image with Suede, Espresso and Not Quite Navy. The banner is embossed in Espresso on Ruby red with a notched end and an accent brad.

Awesome card Gail! Sorry I missed this during the week. LOVE the ship and your DPs are perfect for that masculine feel! That heavy grommet and twine really say NAVY to me! LOVE this card!!!
