I'd have to say that 2012 wasn't a very good year and I'm finding it hard to muster up much hope for next year, so I used Joan's TLC challenge as a reminder of some of the good things in life - friends (who supplied so much of what I used), and our 25th anniversary trip to Paris in June when we had a picnic lunch in the Luxembourg Gardens on our anniversary day, and sunbathed by the Seine in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.
This is 6" x 5 1/2", black base and then some old DCWV paper. I stamped the Eiffel tower on copier acetate for an overlay, because the paper was too textured to take a good impression.
Sentiment is PSX as per Joan's directions, and after smudging white round the edges I also stamped the flourish from Vintage Vogue in white.
I added a flourished overlay from K&Co under the butterfly (also K&Co), and stamped and embossed a silver flourish in the top left corner, accented with Liquid Pearls and a half pearl. Music flowers and foliage finish it off.
When it stops raining I'll try to take a better photo!
