Today's Inspiration Challenge website is House 8810 - I just love this sight, I could be in retro card making heaven all day! Great samples, Stef and Carole! I hope to be back later with at least one more but here's a card I made as guest designer for ODBD's Shining Light Challenge which I forgot to upload here - I love this apron! the image is colored with copics and the rest of the card is left fairly simple with only twine and star brads as embellishments, it is for a guy. This verse speaks volumes today of all days...

BEAUTIFUL inspirational card of encouragement, Bridget. Your red/white/blue color palette works so well with your nautical theme and references in your Biblical quote.

I missed that one when you first posted. It is gorgeous, just right for a guy with a spiritual attitude. Beautiful coloring as usual and dp co ordination.
Even before I read your description of what went into this card, the sentiment on the card reminded me of the tragedy in Newtown. We have to count our blessings and pray for the poor families who were affected by it.
This card is just beautiful...love your fabulous, detailed coloring of the image and the simplicity of the rest of the card.
