took reinkers choc chip, going gray, close to cocoa and really rust and dropped a drop on a cd...took a flat toothbrush (hope DH doesn't mind!;) ) and dabbed it one color at a time and drug across my cs. drew lines with marker and added nails/board ends.
colored horse with same drops and waterbrush.

You did a great job on that wood. It looks so realistic. Your DH shouldn't mind about the toothbrush, at least you didn't clean the toilet with it! haha!

I love the faux wood design! You did such a great job that I thought you had taken a picture of actual wood for the background. I have added it to my favs and have to try it soon.
