Jeanne S asked us to do a card with fruits or veggies for the Free for All challenge. I'm still making Christmas cards so pulled out one of my very first stamps - a partridge in a pear tree. Look closely and you'll see the pears in the image.
The stamp is simply heat embossed and bordered with black. I looked through my musical-themed dp but nothing looked right so printed The Twelve Days of Christmas off the computer. It looked too stark in black and white - didn't go with the old-fashioned woodcut look of the image. So I sponged it with distress inks and splattered it a bit with a marker and SU's spritzing tool.
It's the perfect Christmas card for friends who always host a carol-singing evening!

I love this! So pretty against the music sheet and the gold really adds flavor to the card. Very nice!
