My favorite bird of all time is the Eastern Cardinal. I feed them in the winter and they are amazing when the ground is covered with snow and that bright red is against it. God created so many miraculous creatures.
This is for the Ways to Use It Challenge. We were to have a bird on our card. I am working on Christmas cards.
This is an SU set that is retired, A Christmas Cardinal. This is the first time I have ever inked it!! The dp is from my stash, the green is Bazzil. I stamped the image on some Copic paper in Momento and colored it with Copics. Stamped Merry Christmas on Cherry Cobbler and cut it out with a Nestie tag die. Added some pearls. I tried a bow, a poinsettia and several other embellishments but it looked better plain. It stands up. I did mount the frame on foam tape. It was really hard to photograph. I think it's prettier IRL than the picture shows.
Thanks for the challenge it was fun!
Thanks for looking, hope you like my card.

I tried a bow with my cardinal and changed my mind also. And, yes, God has created some amazing creatures for us to admire! Beautifully colored-he looks so majestic!

I bet its so much nicer IRL...the cameras NEVER do these lovely works of art justice. I have never seen the red bird like that IRL wither so I bet that IS fabulous to see too. This is a perfect design for this pretty bird, helps it to stand out like it should...TFs..:0)
