Ok, Ok you got me out of hiding behind the bushes watching the tea parties and no time to join in. I know it has been so long I have been away. I am not going to lie, I missed each and every one of you and being able to come to the tea party. So how fun is it that I come back when the Teapartiers are calling for Bears for MaryLou-a fellow "BEAR" lover just like me. Not only that but my fellow punchie pal Marie (Momof5sons) is the host! How could I stay behind the tree! I am going to have so much fun looking at all the bear creations-I can't wait!
My bear is a paper pieced pattern I made several years ago. I had to dig in my stuff to find her because the minute I read the challenge I knew I wanted to use her for MaryLou. All the dies are from Spellbinders including the rolled roses and leaves. I used Studio G ink from the 97 cent bin at Walmart. The roses were painted with "Twinkle Toes" Glimmer Glam by Tattered Angels. The sparkly green leaves are pieces of leaves from a Michael's Christmas spray.
It's so great to be back-I can't tell you how thrilled I am. Thanks so much for taking a look at my card. See you in the gallery!

Carol, what a gorgeous creation for Marylou! I love the tiny flowers adorning her pretty outfit and I especially love the tiny sentiment tag she is holding. Your paper flowers are always so beautiful. You've chosen such pretty diecuts to accent your card and the lace at the top is a beautiful touch.

Bearzi, you being here means so much to me! I miss you so much...but that's my fault! I love that you used a long loved treasure to share with MaryLou...you've dolled her up so beautifully (as only you can!). Your flowers and glitter and borders and lace are all beautiful and woven together in such a perfect way. MaryLou will love her as much as I do. Thanks for coming to the tea party...Big, big Hugz!
