The colors for that challenge were cherry cobbler, night of navy and crumb cake. Dessert was to use something from the kitchen.
I decided to make a Christmas card with these colors. I chose my layout, which is this weekÂ’s sweet stop sketch #183.
From there I picked my dsp and that is from SU’s “deck the halls” collection.
The cherry cobbler dsp has the words to "O Christmas Tree" so that determined my image.
I used the Just Rite clear stamp set “O Christmas Tree”. Stamped in night of navy and accented with cherry cobbler.
My ribbon is SUÂ’s quilted satin cherry cobbler. I topped that with cherry cobbler bakerÂ’s twine. That covered my dessert option.
Added some night of navy buttons to complete my card.
Hope you can join in with us this week for cc400. We are honoring Betty Wright.

This is so crisp and colorful Mary. I love the retro look of your design and layout to go with the challenge of retro colors.
