Denise gave us a sketch, and Joan suggested that we make polka dots...sure these could work together. The layout screamed Washi tape to me. While cleaning my craft room this morning I came across this stamp - and it whispered to me. I chose the Penny Black butterfly because lately I seem more like a flitting butterfly than a pensive soul.
Stamped first the sentiment then the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black on ColorMates Fairy Tale Pink, then just the butterfly on a Neenah Natural White card. Masked the butterfly and using Punchinella and Versamark made some random polka dots. Dirtied them up irregularly with Russet Pearl-Ex. Cut the sentiment with a Nestie oval and mounted with the fabric and Washi tape. After finishing the card, I took my lunch outside to eat and was treated to a small parade of Monarch butterflies migrating to the west. He is so good to me! PT - 1
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Okay, this was a peaceful description and so well written. Your card is absolutely lovely and such a different (in a wonderful way) take on the challenge sketch.

Your soft polka dots, lovely butterfly image and the beautiful verse drew me in to take a closer look at your card. Loved that you shared how the Lord sent a parade of butterflies for you to enjoy while you ate your lunch!
