The current ODBD challenge is birds. Anybody who knows me much at all knows I love birds, so I combined this challenge with today's sketch.
Currently I'm deriving a lot of entertainment from two little coal tits (think chickadee only smaller) who are arguing with each other at the feeder and keep chasing each other round the place.
My papers are My Mind's Eye, with distressing and sponging. The music strip is an IO stamp on kraft, embossed with clear EP and then sponged with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. The sentiment tab is a piece of chipboard trimmed from a 12" scrapbook border. I went exotic with my bird and tried to colour him like a tanager, since they seem to have a finch-type beak.

I love your dp, esp. the music. The finch on the thistle is wonderful!

Smile. It IS fun to watch birds play. I watch the hummingbirds chase each other on/off our feeder on the window every morning. Your card is really pretty and I especially like the sentiment panel. (and the BG lace)

Absolutely beautifully done, Sabrina, your love for birds comes through... I like your attention to detail, it all adds up to very special. Hope you and DH are good - getting a bit more chilly these days, isn't it??
