This is my card for today's sketch challenge #401. Korin is our hostess and she gave us a beautiful layout.
I first chose my dsp from the SU "everyday enchantment" collection. I paired it with poppy parade and soft suede cardstock.
My image is from Great Impressions Stamps - Queen Ann's Lace(#H186). I stamped it in soft suede ink. I layered this panel in poppy parade and then sponged some poppy parade ink. Added some pearls and butterflies.
My sentiment is from the stamp "friendship grows" G184. I just inked up the sentiment from this stamp.
On the first rectangle layer, I used the sizzix ef "kassie's brocade" and soft suede cardstock. I wanted to use more dsp but it just seemed to busy.
This is also for the fan club August "in the neighborhood theme". My neighbor has Queen Ann's lace growing in her garden.

Mary, lovely way to combine two challenges. Love how you used the SU DSP - I sometimes have trouble with it and this gives me ideas. The poppy parade is the PERFECT complement. Love the butterflies and the embossing! Thanks for sharing such a lovely card!
