I can't believe I'm still stamping at this hour!! But I got a look on FB of Karen Barbers BEAUTIFUL card, so I had to check out the Inspiration site.
This week Stef is taking us to LEIF for inspiration. I chose this tote: http://www.leifshop.com/collections/...w-warbler-tote
I have no idea what a yellow warbler is, but I thought this MS bird image was sort of Goldfinch like. I got out our bird book & using WCW crayons colored this similar to a Lawrence Goldfinch. Had to add some ribbon to cover a smudge & rounded the corners.
Great site this week Stef. Thanks for always coming up w/ someplace interesting to peruse.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

I remember this tote...almost used it as my inspirational picture too, was so pretty. Great job coloring this pretty little thing..love it and your pretty bow. That is the most fun of this craft, to me anyways., figuring out the best way to cover all my many silly mistakes, or little smudges that sometimes I swear come out of no-where...super pretty...TFS. I knwo what you mean by being up late too, or maybe early for you...at times I am up till like 2-3 inthe morning because I get into the Crafty zone, and time escapes me. :0)..take care

Karen, such a sweet lil tweeter. Love that yellow bow. Doesn't it just bring out the beautiful colors of this cute bird? Lovely!

Looks like a goldfinch to me, Karen! : ) Love it sitting on the thistle plant since those are the seeds they like. You are SO honest...we would never know there was a smudge if you didn't tell us. : ) A lovely card.

Pretty card..I love that you got out the bird book to get the colors just right! And sometimes you've just got to create when the urge hits you...and I can see how that tote would offer lots of inspiration!

Karen, I was just playing with yellow and purple the other day and I couldn't make it work and look what you've done!! This is lovely....especially the way you've coloured your bird. I love your happy accident bow too!
