First, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for all the kind words and thoughts and prayers for our family these past two weeks. We have needed every singkle one of them.
In last week's freak weather storm a tree fell on DH when he and our 14yo DD took the dogs for a walk before the storm hit. The wind just picked up before they had walked 10 steps and sent a huge tree branch crashing into DH. He has a broken back and a broken leg. Those are going to heal just fine and we are so very grateful! And DD was not harmed in any way, which is a miracle as she was walking right behind him.
Our biggest problem is that bc of the trauma his spinal chord is swollen and causing nerve problems to his hands and arms. So at this point, we're out of the hospital and into a rehab facility for about a month to get the use of his hands back up to speed. Then home (hopefully) for out patient rehab to begin walking after his back and leg have healed.
The only uncertainty now is how much use of his hands and arms he will get back once the swelling is down, but the docs think he'll eventually get it all back so we are in wonderful spirits here and thanking God every day for miracles.
The card---The flowers are stamped in vanilla and embossed in vanilla. The label is stamped in crumb cake and the sentiment embossed.
Thanks for looking!

I prayed for your husband and family through this ordeal, and I'm so happy to hear things are on the positive end. God is so good, all the time! Your card is so pretty done in Crumb and Vanilla! I like the embossing on this and that itty bitty touch of red bling is perfect! TFS~

Pretty card. Wow God was on your side for sure. I just had back surgery 2 weeks ago tomorrow so I know how slow this recoup is. Tell him to hang in there. Will be praying for him.

YOur card is beautiful. Glad everything seems to be going well for your dh. I hope he has a full recovery. We recently had freak storms where I live in WV. Many were out of power for a week and I think some still are.
