Yay...I get to play along today in the challenges. I combined two challenges in my card ....the CAS challenge of using white on white and the TLC challenge of using halves. I had a lot of fun making this card, but a few things I would have done differently are: sew BEFFORE placing the eyelets (I don't know where my brain was), and using glue dots instead of dimensionals to adhere my collar down (the dimensionals pop it out a little too much so I had to use double thickness dimensionals to put the sentiment on. Speaking of the sentiment...I printed that on my computer. The little dachshund stamp that I divided and stamped into 2 halves to get the length I needed is from an unknown source. I know I bought it at Hobby Lobby, but there is not a manufacturer printed anywhere on it. I would love to give credit where credit is due, so if anyone knows who made this stamp, I would love to hear it! The tag is from PTI...love that set! Thank you so much for two GREAT challenges. Now I am off to see what everyone else made! Happy Monday, ya'll!

from one dachshund lover to another - this is one fabulous card! I love the "collar" you created, and especially love how you stretched that image! TOO cute!

Just perfect Katie...I'll bet that you fell in love with this stamp the instant that you saw it. Very, very clever way to design the collar and it looks fabulous despite your travails.
PS It has been a long time and I have missed you. I keep the card you made when I was Queen in my crafting space. I see it, think of you and smile. Hugz!
