Steph gave us a challenge to use the negative cuts we have from our die cutting. I had made a card that I cased from this card. Happy Graduation by Alcojo94 at Splitcoaststampers. I had changed the colors to match the color of my graduate. Since I had the negative left, I made this card. I used the cricut to cut out the letters at 13/4 size. Cut it out with a nestie, and mounted on a black panel that I had run through an embossing folder. I added lines with a silver krylon pen. Added the paper clip. I then used a very old sizzix embossing folder for the cap. Colored with copics and cut it out. I decorated the black envelope with the pen also. The one thing to remember if your going to use your negative save all the little pieces, like the middle of the zero.

Oh I love the way this looks, Linda, wonderful CASE. These are the colors of the high school my twins will start in the fall. I'll have to keep this in mind for 4 years in the future...beautifully done.

Classy graduation card! The splash of negative red with textured black background peeking through really makes a bold statement. Love the grad cap and matching envie.
