Oh I just love that Susan aka susanbri is the Featured Stamper this week. Her clean style is wonderful and I have long admired her work. I chose this card to CASE: Christmas Heart by susanbri at Splitcoaststampers
I reasoned that if a heart could work so well for Christmas it would be appropriate for a sympathy card...
Used punch/mask technique
Used different color scheme
Changed position of sentiment
Added a second heart, used the thread as a healing hug rather than across the bottom of the card
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Marie, thank you so much for honouring me with a card for my week as Featured Stamper. I love your CASE - the hearts are perfect for a sympathy card, and I absolutely love the way you changed my crossed twine to crossed thread to represent a healing hug - brilliant idea!

While I can see the inspiration from Susan, I am so impressed with how you made a sympathy card! Love the hearts and how the two hearts are separated. Then you add the simple stitching to mend the main heart, it speaks volumes! Love this sympathy card! Wonderful CASE!!!

Love the double hearts and the little X on one of them is a perfect touch.

That's a perfect sympathy card! I've needed several lately--and now I need to replenish. I'll have to keep hearts in mind for them! Thanks for the great idea.
