Okay, I am seriously in mourning over these three colors- blushing bride, poppy parade and pear pizazz. I see in my future that my cards are gonna be made from "pretty in pink" but what is this?? The pics always come out looking like blushing bride?? what is UP with that?? It must be my camera....that's all I can say....so if you see some "pretty in pink" on my cards that mysteriously resembles "blushing bride" just know that am not sure why that happens,,,,hmmmm......my celery ends up looking something like pear too....what's up with that???? Darn camera........#I simply cannot survive without blushing bride....I cannot.# OH....and while I'm having my little boo hoo fest, I have to say, this is also an awesome stamp set we are saying farewell too......boohoo.....boohoohoohoo......

Oh, Karen, I so agree with you! First, I love this card...so beautiful! And second, I sure hope that SU will bring Blushing Bride back permanently == it's the only really pretty pink!!!!! And I love Pear Pizzazz too, and they work so well together! I never got Poppy Red, but it's BB and PP that I will miss most! :((((

Now Karen...not a single person here believes that Pretty in Pink would actually touch your fingertips (that is if you even own any - LOL!!!). I am with you, I will miss Blushing Bride along with all the awesome colors! I'm with you...switch the Certainly Celery to Pear Pizazz...perfect update!

Beautiful. Well, with the note on SU's website that we should hang onto retired colors in case they add them as "regular" colors, I am thinking they are looking at one or more of these colors (not to start a rumor). Maybe you won't have to mourn for too long.

So beautiful, I could have picked this out of a gallery, knowing it was yours, Karen! I love the softness of Blushing Bride, it's almost like a vintage pink. And I relate...I am still mourning the loss of Cool Caribbean, my favorite SU color ever! My mom recently found me a reinker somewhere out there on the internet, thankyou, Mom!

Love your card & colors. (The actual color appearance may not be your camera as much as lighting. Sometimes I shoot my cards in incandescent, fluorescent, and daylight before I find one truest to the actual card. Also, reflection of surroundings will influence the outcome. Don't throw the camera out yet; experiment! ;-))

Yes, I agree that these were some awesome in colors. I love the blushing bride too. You do such an awesome job with this stamp set too. I can't believe it is going bye bye too. Thanks Karen for sharing your work with us, and always providing a sample.
