Another great site this weekend Stef. I found a couple of things to use as inspiration. My first card uses this Hidden message tie. I knew right away I would be using one of Lisa Lara's new Clear Dollar Stamps digis called Ties for him. I love the big wide tie, my first thought was I could put anything I wanted into the tie, digi or stamp.... plus I could make the tie any size I wanted... Love that... So when I saw the inspiration tie I thought of a message in a bottle... So this is what I came up with....
When I took the first photo, I forgot the Dad sentiment.. but I liked it without it also... So I fixed the photo to include both versions and the photo of the hidden message under the tie.
Today is the last day my Niece will be visiting. We spent the whole day at Busch Gardens in Tampa yesterday and she and my Mom are on their way to visit at my house today. She is in the USAF and just got home from Saudi... I haven't seen her in about 6 years.... I have missed her.....
Thanks for looking

I have been thinking about my dad and what type of card to send him, after looking at your card, which I really adore, I knew I would be casing the tie. I love that look. Into my fav goes your card, then you mention tampa florida, I used to live in crystal river, fl until 2003 until I moved to tenn. My family still lives there, I thought small world, lol. Your card is just right for a man, thanks for sharing

Really creative and wonderful, Irene. I'm a little late on commenting on your wonderful card since I was gone from early morning to late last night. Love how you used a "tie" shape for your sailing ship image. Wonderfully formatted card too.
