I recently came across a recipe for French Fries and it is the best ever! They are crispy brown on the outside and tender on the inside. So today I was inspired not only by this card of the new Queens, mepylant BUT by those tasty fries I made.....my card...BUT first Congrats Melina. You are so deserving of being the new Queen. You leave such wonderful comments. Was fun browsing you fab-O gallery!.....NOW my card....
I used Melina's layout, changed the flowers into French Fries and the colors into a golden monochromatic one for the F4A today. As I type this I see that I mistook her "W" for staples. I must be blind as a bat, I tell you! hehe
I drew the fries, gingaham table cloth and the salt shaker after all, a light dusting of salt just makes these fries all the more better. These were so good, I am making a batch for dinner tonight! hehe
Coloring was done with w/c pencils and sponging on the edges with butterscotch.
Was a really rainy day AGAIN. Quick story, went to one pool and was greeted by a duck standing on a wall acting all protective. As I looked around I saw that she had laid an egg right next to the pool's deep end. Crazy duck! The male duck was there too only he just kept swimming and pooping in the pool. Made for an interesting day. hehe
Hope your day is going well!....TFL :0)

I just love how you draw your images and create cards with them! This is really cute with those yummy fries, but your duck story kinda killed the appetite

Yummm...what a tempting look. Such talent with the drawing - and great idea for a monochromatic card.
I think that duck family must feel it is living in the lap of luxury - getting their own private pool cleaned and ready for the new arrival!
