Today's Inspiration Challenge is at the website of Superfine Bakery - I chose the cake which was covered with cream swirls resembling roses. It's the fifth photo in the gallery but I got a close up from their blog: Creamy Swirls Cake
I used the MFT Rolled Rose Die-namic to make a number of roses from felt and snipped bits from the Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish die. I embossed a bit at the bottom of the panel and at the top, leaving a smooth strip for the sentiment, before stitching and popping it up on the card base.
A bit more detail about the making of the card on my blog.

Absolutely stunning, Bridget! I need a wedding card for next week, and this really inspires me! Totally love it...so soft and beautiful...and the roses -- wow!

What an absolutely gorgeous card. I have been thinking about using felt to make roses for a card and I have hesitated until now... your work is beautiful and this is such an elegant card. Love it.
